Carefree Infant Classrooms

Our infants are CAREFREE!!! Babies learn through everyday activities and go with the flow in their ever changing experiences and schedules. Schedules are based off of parent requests so each infant has his/her home schedule supported at DMP. Our curriculum is modified to fit the three general developmental stages in the first year of life: supported sitter, sitter/crawler and stander/walker.

Teacher directed experiences throughout the day are repetitive and involve simple interaction through play. Each week we incorporate the following 5 learning areas: Learning Centers, Literacy, Music & Movement, Creative Art and Verbal/Non-Verbal Communication. Teacher Tips are provided each week to ensure the continuation of learning for our teachers as well.

Our infant classrooms have a 1:4 ratio, with 3 teachers and 9 infants making full enrollment.

Determined Toddler 1’s Classrooms

Our Toddler 1’s are DETERMINED!!! Toddlers learn through exploration, experiences and repetition. Our classrooms have the same schedule everyday, creating an environment that is predictable and comfortable. Curriculum is created by our Lead Teachers and provides developmentally appropriate activities designed to help 1 year olds reach their developmental milestones at a pace that is appropriate for all children.

While learning through play, every week activities incorporate Learning Centers, Literacy, Music & Movement, Creative Art and Verbal/Non-Verbal Communication and STEM.

Our classrooms have a 1:6 ratio, with 2 teachers and 12 toddlers making full enrollment.
